Our Friendly Staff
Born and raised in North Texas, Anthony Martinez serves as the general manager and brings over 15 years of dining experience to the Bob’s Steak & Chop House of Austin Barton Creek. Anthony’s goal is to provide each of our guests with a dining experience worth remembering whether you’re joining us to celebrate an anniversary, promotion, or a private dining event.
While you’re here, be sure to try Anthony’s favorite Bob’s meal, the Côte de Boeuf. Just like the service and quality of our Austin Barton Creek location, this 22 oz. mouth-watering, bone-in prime ribeye is legendary. From the moment you walk in the door to when you take your last bite of Bob’s Classic Bread Pudding for dessert, Anthony and the entire Bob’s Austin Barton Creek team is here to help facilitate best-in-class dining.
Chef Derek Barragan serves as the Executive Chef at Bob’s Steak & Chop House Barton Creek where his 15 years of experience, diverse culinary background, and love for teaching have been critical to the successful opening of Bob’s newest location in the Texas Hill Country.
Chef Barragan got his culinary start when he joined Fort Worth’s Lonesome Dove Western Bistro as Sous Chef where he worked alongside his mentor, nationally-acclaimed Executive Chef Tim Love. It was shortly after that Derek joined Chef Love at the James Beard House, later participating in the Food Network Special, “Cowboys on the Trail.”
