Daniel was born and raised in La Jolla and has an accomplished background in the food & beverage industry. He started his career working his way up from dishwasher to management at Chart House in La Jolla and discovered his passion for restaurants and service. He managed the well-known Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse for 17 years where he developed his wine knowledge with fine dining experience.
Daniel and his wife Cordelia have two boys, Myles and Finn. In his spare time, he volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, restores vintage Vespa scooters and is an avid collector of palm trees – he has 21 different species in his garden at home.
